I'll start this post by saying I'm an idiot. I recently purchased a used friedrich wallmaster off craigslist for a very fair price. It was in a retirement home, the family was just looking to get rid of it and it was barely used. I already own one of these units so I went in with tunnel vision assuming all wallmasters are created equally. I go to the apartment, turn it on,hear the compressor turn on and then I turn it off and unplug it. I get it home set it up and go to plug it in...it's 240 volts. My apartment is 120 volts. What could I do to fix this problem if anything?
