Is it better to jerry rig my window ac in the main room or leach cold air through the kitchen?

Good Afternoon,

Im not sure if this sub is the correct place to put this question but its the best place I could think of.

Basically I got a 12000 BTU AC as a present and it's too large to fit in my living room window. A LG LW1214ER.

I've got 3 ideas (technically 2 since one only adds hose vents to the 2nd idea).

My first idea is to have the AC sitting on a table with the rear facing the window. My AC fits windows that are 27-39 inches width but my window is aprox 22.5 inner glass pane. Would 5 inches blockage make a huge difference?

2nd idea is the same as the one above except surrounding hoses such as laundry hoses to ac and venting it that way.

My 3rd idea was to put it in my kitchen and use a fan to leach cold air from the kitchen using a regular fan.

Id prefer not use option 3 if I can help it, since to leach cold air I'd have to have a regular fan blowing directly at me due to the way my apartment is designed.

The place the ac was purchased from doesn't accept returns. So I can't exchange it for something else.
