Phoenix, Aging Goodman, need direction.

I live in Arizona outside of Phoenix in an 18 year old home single level just under 2k square feet with a Goodman split system. The system works fine now but i anticipate it is going to start going down likely in the next year. I dont think its as efficient as it could be and am starting to look at what to replace it with. Ive added and imagur album link with pictures , maybe someone can describe what i have and its relative efficiency or inefficiency compared to what is available today. I dont really understand SEER and tonage and how to calculate what i need and those term they apply and what size to choose and why. Hopefully someone can explain to be why and how to make the correct choice in sizing.

Additionally, ive heard quite a few commercials locally for these two websites: https://newacunit.com/ and http://discountacunits.com/

Both seem to sell only Goodman, and say they are eliminating the middleman and saving the consumer a lot of money, IF i were to go with Goodman again( seems there use good compressors..Ive started to learn a bit) which unit on either of these sites should i consider?

I thank you very much for your time and expertise.
