Hi.
I have a simple question that might not require a lot of backstory.
Basically I have poor supply airflow upstairs. In my basement there are two registers in the main duct line. Of I open them both airflow is super cold and forceful. If I close them halfway it whistles.
Yet they seal so well that closing them totally let's basically no air out.
My thought was these registers being open were limiting upstairs airow.
But then I started reading about static airflow and what not.
It doesn't seem to make a difference upstairs as far as airflow is concerned with those basement registers open or closed.
There is one main return on my dining room upstairs.
Can anyone help?
