Hey guys, I'm installing an swamp cooler on my house and all we have left is the electrical side of it and getting a bit confused. How I am understanding it is I run power from a circuit breaker to the swamp cooler. Then I have to run a 5 wire from the tstat to the evap cooler and then also have a 3+ wire from the tstat to the furnace? I don't have a smart thermostat, just a digital one that has a heat, fan, and cool options on it. I wouldn't mind wiring up in case I do get a Nest in a year or two maybe. Does this sound right? I'm not finding anything on the web for doing both a swamp and furnace on the same tstat.
