Main goal of this installation is to provide our 2nd floor with proper cooling and to supplement the heat in the winter. The cooling is pretty poor right now, about a 10 degree difference between the floors. The layout of the house is such that the ducting run is too far to provide enough airflow and cooling. The winter wasn't too bad since the hot air rose, but that was also because we generally like it very cool/cold.
Talking with the rep he mentions the cooling capabilities to be the same between these two but I have no clue. I don't want to drop the money and only get a couple degree difference. This system would be ran from the attic straight down to the 2nd floor so the runs should be more manageable. Can someone explain to me the difference here and if it's worth spending the extra money?
