I live in a 1,600 ft townhouse in MN. I don't think we run our AC that hard - we keep it at 72 from 6pm - 7am, and 76 during the day when we are at work.
But, my usage is significantly higher than my neighbors.
I'm not sure if this is related to AC at all - but that's the only thing that's changed I can think of. Also, I notice I have higher kWh in February as well - definitely wasn't running the AC. March dipped down because we were gone for a week.
Any ideas? How can I find what is using up all my kWh and why my bill has gone from ~65$ to ~ $150 a month.

EDIT - I found this post (archived so I can't comment on it) that has some info. https://www.reddit.com/r/HVAC/comments/1nr0pu/electric_bill_spiked_from_70_kwh_to_220_kwh_daily/
I think I need to learn about "heat strips" and check to see if that's an issue. Also, we leave the (air handler) on all the time to keep air circulating - I didn't think that would cost much but perhaps it does!
