How can I adapt a rectangular blower exhaust flange to conventional dryer ducting?

Posted to /r/hvacadvice but no responses. Figured I should ask here too.

A buddy built me an airbrush spray booth with this blower fan as the centerpiece: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KNZIWNO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The exhaust of the blower is 5" x 9 1/2" outer diameter, the inner diameter is 3 5/8 x 7 7/8". I need to somehow adapt this to exhaust out standard 4" diameter household dryer ducting. It seems like there's no means of doing this directly, so I'm not sure where to start.

Should I just cut off a section of hose, wrap it around the flange, and duct tape it as best I can? Is there a method do doing this I should look into? I browsed through Lowe's and Home Depot's listings of vent adapters/elbows/etc. and can't find anything to match the rectangular exhaust. Looking around at Home Depot I found adapter boots and such, but they're either too big or too small, or oval-shaped.

It seems like my best shot is to either get a boot that's slightly larger in size, hammer it into shape or something, stuff the gaps with... uh... stuff, not sure what... and then just seal the hell out of it with aluminum tape, or to get an 8" to 4" adapter, hammer that to shape, and repeat as above.

Neither I nor my buddy have access to metalworking equipment, but I'd be willing to buy tin snips or something if it's not too difficult to just get aluminum and bend/snip out some adapter or whatnot.

I did reach out to the blower manufacturer to ask if they were aware of any such adapters for the blower in question but they didn't know.

Any advice or thoughts?
