Newbie here, just graduated a basic tech school. What's the best way to further my career?

I want to make a lot of money. I don't expect to instantly or to not have to put hours and hours in outside of work, but I didn't want to just land a job and then settle. I want to pursue something and I like the field. What are my best options? Thanks!
