Should I get a 5 year extended labor warranty on my system or is that dumb?

Comes w/ a 1 year labor 10 year parts. I am considering the extended warranty because I've seen my neighbors system go bad and they had to fix it and I dunno if i wanna deal with that. I'm 50/50 here.
