Hello, I got called to check on a trane unit at a building I manage. Unit wouldn't run and display at stat was blank. Checked the transformer and it was getting 120 on both legs, and nothing on the output.
So I grabbed a new transformer. Hooked up the appropriate leads for 240v and nothing. Checked the output and it's at 15v. Circuit breaker on the transformer wasn't tripped What the hell? Could it be a bad transformer right from trane or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated
