I just purchased a dual hose portable air conditioner unit; it is in the mail (https://www.amazon.com/Whynter-ARC-110WD-Portable-Conditioner-11000/dp/B00CHQKIZC?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0).
Due to the placement of the window, and the placement of where I want the unit to be, the two 47 inch tubes included will be about a foot short.
These are the OEM add-on tubes, $65, https://www.amazon.com/Whynter-ARC-EH-110WD-Portable-ARC-110WD-Conditioner/dp/B00CHQKIWU/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1464810986&sr=8-2-fkmr0&keywords=ARC-110WD++tube
My question is:
Is there anything special about these?
Are they made out of something special?
Is this something I can measure, and pick up at Home Depot under a generic brand for a lot cheaper?
