I have an hvac that is roughly 20years old. It leaks R22 enough that it needs a recharge every summer.
I know it is bad and I don't need the bad for the environment stuff. I know.
My question, would a leak stop type item fix this issue along with a recharge so that I can limp though until next tax return and can get the entire thing replaced.
Would I be better getting a larger window unit? I already have 3 smaller ones for emergencies. The larger would go in the living room.
Any ideas is appreciated
