Please help me identify unattached pipe (x-post with /r/homeimprovement)

I live in a condo building. A few months ago, all the outdoor central air conditioners were replaced and they needed to come into my utility room and access wires or something from the ceiling. They removed all the piping and tubes from the furnace in order to access the back of the room. After the project was finished, I did not notice anything amiss while running heat. Now that I am running AC, I noticed water filling the metal pan under the furnace and figured my AC condensate drain was clogged. When I took a closer look, I noticed one of the pipes was not attached to anything and there is white fluffy stuff on the floor. Can someone tell me what this pipe is for and where is it supposed to be attached? TIA! Edit (forgot pics): http://imgur.com/a/xdhkY
