Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this. I always run into this issue when I'm about to leave for summer vacation. So I live in a warm weather state. Temps already in the 90s. I am about to go on a vacation for around 6 days. I am wondering should I leave my AC on or off while I am away.
I try to be financially careful and usually my routine is to leave the AC on evening/overnight to cool the house. when I wake up I turn the AC off and when I get back home I turn the AC off. My bill currently comes out to be around $80ish a month.
Should I leave the AC on when I leave or just leave it off. If I leave it on would it be a big increase likely in my utility bill?
