Home warranty says they'll cover an $1800 repair for a leaking coil. Or give me a credit of $1800 towards a new unit. I have a 2k cap on home warranty, so if anything else pops up after coil repair it would be more out of pocket. What knowledge do i need to arm myself with in order to make this decision an informed one?
(southern wisconsin, 2400sqft, runs all summer long/ keep windows closed all summer due to allergies. - I will be looking at stickers and taking pictures of the unit when i get home tonight.)
