2.5 ton 13 seer Trane for 1100sqft Place

Hello all,

I'm in the process of getting a quote to replace the outside unit and the interior air handler. I live in a condo so the copper pipes leading to the outside can't be replaced but they can be modified I'm told to accommodate the new coolant. This is the list I was given long with two quotes. Both include taxes and labor. I'm in the state of Missouri and need to know if this is fair. I've included a photo of the air handler's serial number and the outside unit.

• New 13 or 14 SEER 2.5 ton air conditioner
• New TMM5 air handler
• New 8000 thermostat
• flush kit to clean line set
• Modify duct work to get proper fit for air handler
• Run new drain line

Total for 13 SEER Trane: $6580 Total for 14 SEER Trane: $6798 Air Handler and Outside Unit
