I have a water to air chiller coil that we installed with the fins running horizontal rather than vertical. (It is in a housing and the openings were covered up while we were installing it and I assumed the fins were running the other way without actually looking.) I know that is worse for getting condensate running off, but before I rework the whole thing, how bad is that? I am guessing that it will clog up with condensate and airflow will drop, and that the condensate sitting on it will corrode it faster than normal.
Thanks, and feel free to call me stupid because I know it was!
