Hi guys
Working on the system at my own house right now. 6 year old Payne 410 system, TXV was getting stuck. Pressures would take about 30 minutes before equalizing after the machine turned off before the TXV change.
Went to suck the freon back into the compressor to change the TXV and the machine wouldn't suck on the suction side (gauge staying at 110psi on low side service valve)
Today changed the TXV and the system is running very well, but pressures will still not equalize after turning off.
Are these symptoms of a bad reversing valve?
