I hope everyone is doing well!
Quick question for you guys from someone who is not HVAC competent at all.
I recently moved into my new apartment which I just bought. It's on the 20th floor of an apartment complex (I live in Bahrain btw, which is extremely hot and extremely humid this time of the year). Anyway, My apartment came with a central cooling unit. It's really effective and cools the apartment down really fast. However, the sound of it is driving me ABSOLUTELY CRAZY. It might be the loudest AC I have ever heard in my life. I can't sleep or watch TV while it's on because its so loud. So now I've resorted to turning it on and off periodically which is far from ideal...
Anyway, I've brought a countless number of maintenance guys to the apartment to help me with this but not one of them has been able to find a solution. So I'm looking for ideas from you guys as to what I should be looking to do to fix this, or if it is actually fixable at all in your opinion.
Anyway, if you can help me I would be unbelievably happy.
