How do I ventilate my room with the window A/C blocking the only window I can open?

I have a 150 sq ft room with only a single casement-style window (or sliding window). I have my air conditioner installed in this window and can't open the window without risking the air conditioner falling out. Furthermore, I had to remove the screen to get the air conditioner installed, so if I were to open the window, bugs would be able to get in. My air conditioner doesn't have a vent lever. It just recirculates and cools the air. What can I do the vent my room?
