We come across a lot of R-410A systems, and most times it is the indoor valve that is restricted. I look for 2 things: Low suction pressure while running, and/or uneven high and low side pressures when unit is off.
Is there any other better indicator of a restricted TXV (ex. pressure take very long to equalize once shut off, and then don't fully equalize). Also, is there a way to determine if it's the coil that's restricted, or just the valve itself, without first changing the valve?
