There is a Trane R-series 530 that is attached to my building that doesn't want to start back up after a power outage. We have had pretty bad luck over the past several months and the power has gone out innumerable times due to storms/ blown transformers/ fallen trees. When this happens, we lose AC to our half of the building for a week or so. The other half of the building works fine.
Our support is terrible (government) but I am pretty sure they just flip a couple switches and the damn thing starts running again.
I have looked at the 530 manual and compared with the working AC unit but can't seem to fix it.
The machine appears to be stuck in the "Waiting for need to cool" under the chiller tab. The only successful way I've gotten the machine to run again is to throw both huge breakers to the machine, turn it back on, and stop and start the system. It'll run for a minute or two and then say restart inhibited under compressor 2A. After awhile, it'll go back to 'auto' across the board.
Us young knuckle draggers roasting in the summer heat would appreciate any help.
