Adding refrigerated air to my house

Hello, I'm hoping someone here could give me some advice. I have a swamp cooler on my house, and I am sick and tired of it. I want refrigerated air. I have a mu universal refrigeration license, and access to a gauge set, vacuum pump, recovery machine, and pretty much every refrigeration tool at my work. I think I can handle this job myself. I find myself at a number of different HVAC parts houses getting stuff for my job on a pretty regular basis. so my hope is that I will come across a scratch and dent unit or something of the sort and buy it on the spot. But I need to figure out what size I need. I think I should be able to do this based on my heater. My forced air furnace is rated 93000BTU output. In the winter the lowest temp I've seen in -10 degrees. I'm aiming to keep the house at about 70 degrees. The forced air furnace seems like it's adaquately sized, it cycles on and off about as often as it should. In the summer I don't think it's ever hotter than 110. If I were aiming for 60 degrees, then that's 50 degrees of difference between inside and out, and 80 degrees difference in the winter. So I think my new split system should be a little more than half of the size of my furnace. 93000BTU's is 7.5 tons, so I think I need about a 4 ton split system. Does this sound reasonable? Am I crazy to think I can size my split system like this? I'd appreciate your opinions. Thanks!
