My HVAC system seems to have a really hard time heating my house. The house is old, and I know the insulation is pretty poor, but it cooled just fine in the summer. I'm trying to figure out if there is a problem with the HVAC.
When the heat is on, it feels like the vents are blowing cold air at first, then the "EM Heat" turns on and the air turns warm. Is it supposed to work like this? Also, one vent blows fairly strong, but the others in the house are very weak, you can hardly feel anything coming from them. Does this mean there is some sort of pinch or blockage in the duct work?
