So I go to the a supply house at 730am to pick up an ordered compressor THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE WAITING FOR ME! IT's a 20 ton 480 volt scroll for a cafe so it's sort of critical. I ask the guy behind the desk for it, and it's not there. He said I have to wait for the truck to show up which comes at 10am. I tell the the other tech (let's call him Dave) who is on site already that I have to show up empty handed and caught him up to speed. I get there and we went as far as we can go so all we have to do is wait for the supply house to get the truck. Dave calls the supply house to see if they have an update on the piece de La Resistance and they told us that they got the truck but THEY NEVER LOADED THE COMORESSOR. Then the the person on the phone asks if we can step down the voltage from 480v to 208v. Dave just said to the guy " You should go home" and hung up. We ask our shop to find if another place has it in stock we find one an hour later and finish the job thankfully with no other headaches.
