Thoughts on Motor replacement AC was frozen but not reaching temp

Living in FLA, yep it's getting hot. AC froze over on Sunday, let it thaw out for a few hours, no more ice, turned it back on, frozen in the morning.

Had a tech come out, coils relatively clean (cleaned about 6 months ago), check pressure, no shortage of collant, inspected fan, the fan was dirty as hell and didn't change speeds or spin fast.

Had him clean up the fan and clean the outside unit which apparently was not cleaned, only the inside coils were.

This morning, not freezing, but the AC didn't reach 73 @ night.

Unit is a 10yr old installed Rheem. Part # for the motor 51-101880-01r-02 for an RHLA HM3617JA manufactured 6/2006.

No other issues with the unit.

What are your thoughts of the motor being the issue not being able to reach a fast enough RPM to get the AC to be more efficient and cool properly?

Replace the motor at a fraction of the cost and hope to get a few more years out of the 10 yr old 13 SEER system sound like a decent plan?

Thanks
