Running a wall separating the 3rd hole garage and turning it into a reloading/mancave and need to heat and cool the area. Space will be 10x22 with 9 foot ceiling and live in Missouri so cold winters and very hot and humid summers. I have no windows so a window air/heater like in a hotel isn't an option.
I'm looking at a ductless mini split. But since the area isn't very big I worry that the AC would chill the air and shut the thermostat off and the humidity would settle and be miserable.
Do they make heater/ac/dehumidifier units?
I'm looking at THIS ONE, is that too big?
Can someone recommend a brand/model?
Lastly, is this a DIY project or need a pro?
