Has anyone ever ran one of those Oldest A/C contests, where homeowners get a quote to replace their old beat up A/C or furnace, and at the end of the contest submissions, the oldest unit gets replaced for free? I don't think it would be that hard to run, the only challenge would be getting the word out there (radio, newspaper, internet, etc) but once the quotes start rolling in we would treat them the same as any other. Then we would identify the oldest one and replace it for free. I think it would be good for business but also pretty fun to run as a contest, and pretty cool to get someone a free unit! Any thoughts or advice?
