When I moved in some years back, my Trane XL90 had a 20x25x1 furnace filter with a few left by the previous owners. Only now I just realized it sticks out the top about 4.5 inches.
Should I be buying the 16x25x1 size? Did it run less efficiently or cause issues because I've been using the wrong size?
Are the 3M Filtrete 1500 or 1900 too restrictive on airflow? I have bad allergies.
