I relocated from Florida to an apartment on the cold, foggy side of San Francisco at the beginning of the week. This is my heater in the living room. When I get really close to it, I feel a very faint heat. But I'm not sure if the heat is "on" or "off," and I'm terribly paranoid about doing anything with the chain dangling from the middle of the unit. Could anyone give me directions, even if it's simply a command to pull the chain? As a Floridian, using heaters is foreign to me, and googling variations of "heater with chain" got me nowhere. Thank you!
