Hi r/HVAC,
So we have a warehouse that is 77' (L) x 36' (W) x 18' (Ceiling) and we need to install some form of ventilation. Unfortunately installing an a/c system is not possible at this point so this is our next best option. According to what I have found online the total volume for those dimensions is just over 49k cubic feet, and using a standard range of 6-8 minute air change we would need a supply and exhaust fan at just over 8k CFM's each. This was confirmed by one industrial fan vendor already, however I reached out to another vendor just to get a competing quote on the same fans and they're saying the air change needs to be roughly every minute. This seems excessive, but the information is coming from somebody who is an engineer so I am beginning to doubt myself as well as the first vendor. Any help and/or insight would be greatly appreciated.
