Forgot to replace my filter last couple years, so when I went to change it this year it was nasty. Replaced filter and turned on heat... nothing. Checked the furnace and heard loud noise coming from blower motor. Yada yada yada replaced blower motor but now it's stuck on.
I'm fine with the fan running continuously but am concerned about safety issues. One forum says a bad limit switch is something only a professional should mess with, but could it be something else? Bad/stuck relay perhaps?
