Currently a maintenance tech at a high end apartment complex. First real technician job I've had. It's going good and I'm learning a lot. In my last semester of classes and I was shooting the breeze with my teacher and he casually mentioned to me that controls are going to be the wave of the future in hvac. I've been kicking the idea around in my head but I need more experience before that can happen. I was just wondering if there are any controls guys on this sub who can give some pros and cons of controls as I don't know much about it to be honest. Also I don't know how one would get started doing controls either.
