I have 5 classrooms in a former school that I was planning on heating with a steam boiler, but alas, the steam boiler is unrepairable (leaking sections).
A VTAC, one in each classroom would be perfect, but each unit costs 4k+
I am thinking of building a closet in each classroom, and using a 50K BTU gas furnace forced air furnace and venting through the window (I have many windows).
Are there any reasons this wouldn't work?
