Hydronic radiant heat for new construction home in Chicago, yay or nay?

To preface this, I am a pipefitter, but Im years removed from working on the HVAC side, and even when I did I worked in heavy commercial or heavy residential, so I have almost no experience with in floor radiant heat.

That being said Im still in the early design phases of building a new home and am trying to get working on some of these big decisions early. I like the idea of hydronic heat, but I worry about the cost and possible complications they have (warping floors due to overheat, line popping) versus forced air. Theres also the thought process that you're putting in the infrastructure for forced air heating (ducts for ac) but also still need to run tube throughout the house.

So, Im just looking to get some outside perspective. Possibly some roundabout numbers on what the additional cost would be to have hydronic heat as opposed to forced air.
