Not sure where to turn to this as it's the middle of the night and my wife and I are a bit worried. We've been hearing a very loud buzzing sound every 10-20 minutes from our gas heater. The AC/Heat has been turned off for the past couple of days due to pleasant weather but there is a constant creaking coming from the utility closet where the boiler and indoor HVAC is.
At first we thought the sound was coming from the outside somewhere but soon realized that it's within the utility closet.
Our main concern is that it might be causing a gas leak or have a potential risk of explosion if it turns out its the boiler instead of the furnace.
