First off, apologies if this should be in /r/HVacAdvice, this just seemed like a more active sub... I'm looking to move my oil tank from our basement utility area to the garage. The actual move is all of 5 feet, the place in the garage is just on the other side of the wall where it is now. Is there any sort of restrictions or code on where I can place my oil tank? I'm located in Western MA, and the house is a raised ranch (split level). The reason for the move is because we are putting in another bathroom, and the oil tank relocation will free up some precious space. Sorry if I missed any details, more than happy to fill in any info needed. Thanks!
