want to buy a split air conditioning system. what's the quietest you know?

I'm very sensitive to sound and I don't want to risk anything. It seems to be impossible to test air conditioning systems properly before buying them in my area so I wanted to ask you guys which ones are the most silent ones you know.

Btw can I just unbox the system and plug it in without mounting it inside my room so that they don't get damaged and I don't lose the right to give them back? I'd like to make a noise test like this.
