Advice on how to get more return capacity

2 story house, relatively new build... master bedroom and bathroom are much colder than rest of house in the winter. After a bit of investigating, I noticed a huge draft coming down the stair and under the door to the basement where the gas furnace resides.

I've got a 6" fresh air intake that goes into the return ductwork, and I opened the damper up all the way. That decreased the draft, but still it's there, and the basement door will move shut when the furnace comes on.

I am wondering if there's anything reasonable that I can do to get more air into the furnace, including possibly adding a second intake.

Or along the same lines, is there a way to determine how much more air we need?
