Anyone ever buy slip on baseboard covers? Were they worth it?

Recently moved into a home missing baseboard covers on about 5 of the hydronic baseboards throughput the home. Went to plumbing supply store and they told me slantfin will not sell me just the covers. Currently the fins are exposed.

They look nice but seem expensive. Would be open to any alternatives suggested.
