*Lennox wall-mounted gas boiler, GWM series
We moved in to our new home (in Alaska) about 6 months ago. The heating system kicked out in September or so, and we could press the reset button to get it back on for a little bit, but it would die again. Plumber came, said it was the condensate drain hose out of the neutralizer, which was visibly kinked and backing up water. He wiggled it a bit and pressed the kink out and it stayed fine until a couple weeks ago.
In early January, it starts doing the same thing, and pressing "reset" once a day keeps it warm enough to not freeze the pipes. It appears it kicked out after about 12 hours of action or less. I replaced the drain hose, so it's not kinking, and you can see the condensate moving through and out. It didn't change much. We came to find out our drain pipe had frozen at some point, and got that steamed out. Now it's been better since then, but still kicks out periodically, and we've woken up to a chill a few times this week. The weather is warmer now than prior weeks, and I cleared snow off the roof (though the flue was not in danger of coverage). The house drainage is now working fine.
The error looks like this:
P _ _ _
Lockout Alarm A01
Ignit error
Any ideas? I'd hate to keep paying for all this stuff, especially if it's as easy as "un-kink the hose." Why would it work fine for a few days just to kick out?
