I'm investigating abandoning my rusty leaky smelly in slab ductwork and rerouting all of the supply ducts through the attic instead.
The biggest challenge would be at the furnace. Would I have to get a new upflow furnace? It is only a couple years old.
Any ideas are appreciated.

I've also gotten a quote to spray line the slab ducts for 4k, if I go the overhead duct route I'll do most of the work myself.
