Ductwork installed in addition makes room too hot!

So had some HVAC guys in to run ductwork to addition (size of 1 car garage, 3 exterior walls, lots of windows). There was 1 small duct (6") that was clearly not enough. They put larger like 8" or bigger rectangular main trunk in and 3 more ducts off that. Now there are 4 total.

The rest of the house is now colder than that room. And we thought it would likely be other way around!

So they just finished that and other work today and so not about to bother them on friday night or weekend about it.

Is this an easy fix for them to limit that airflow? Does ductwork need to be changed? Is that large trunk they put directly off the furnace too big and what has to change?

Also, I suspect I shouldn't have to pay for this adjustment? I mean the calculations were done were to ensure an even temperature and they overshot things. Hopefully it's simply fix. I suspect it is better than if it wasn't warm enough. I guess we don't need to replace the single pane windows in this room!
