How much does each 10 degree increase/decrease in thermostat increase costs?

Now that winter is over and my room mate from hell situation seems to have tstopped (since I removed the thermostat face plate and it hasnt been running), we finally got our first low bill of $23 per person (5 of us). Typically we seemed to be paying 60-70 each through the winter months, which I guess makes sense if heating accounts for 60% of a bill.

But for future knowledge. Is it worth fighting over the thermostat setting? In the winter I never liked the setting above 61 as it was a new unit and worked very well in reducing the humidity, and Id rather wear a hoodie to supplement, whereas one other liked it above 70 (blazing inferno) - all the time, even throughout the night.

If we had it set to 70 all winter long, how might our bills had been affected as opposed to setting it to 60?
