Line set hit in re-roof next to top of knee wall - options?

Please see the small gallery I did here. Have two rooflines; one regular and one very steep (on top of garage) with a bonus room (knee wall). Apparently, where the line set goes from the top of the knee wall, a roofing nail went through the suction line. See picture/diagram for where I think it might have been hit. Nitrogen leak check hissing is coming from that general vicinity.

Looking for options on what to expect when the AC person comes out early next week to get my unit working again.

Notes: 1) Bonus room does not have knee wall access door. However, I wouldn't be opposed to them putting one in. 2) Another option that has been said is removing roof/sheating temporarily to splice the line and maybe better protect it. Braized, vacuum, etc, all would have to be done. 3) The idea is being floated about the line set going on the outside. The WAF (wife acceptance factor) on that option is very low.

What have others done in this case?
