I've been looking into switching careers into HVAC, and it seems like something I might be interested in, but one thing that I've been getting mixed results in is math and science requirements. I struggled at both in school, but according to my research and the instructors at my college I only need to know some basic formulas to do my job, plus general algebra knowledge, which I (more or less) know. I couldn't find much on science, other than general stuff like "basics of chemistry and physics," and I'm worse at science than math, but from what I've researched so far science isn't used on the job like math is.
What's the real answer?
