Outside unit freezing up, advice needed please.

Good day. We had a new outside unit installed last summer and everything worked/works like it should. As it has started to warm up and we have been using the AC we have noticed ice on the copper lines coming to the unit from the house. I have been reading online and this seems to be ok due to living in Memphis with the humidity and such. What we have noticed is that the entire fan motor is also frosted with ice while the unit is running. Is this normal? As soon as we turn it off the ice melts and its back to normal. I do not want to mess this thing up as we got the whole thing as an insurance claim. Please help!
