Not sure if this is the right place, but my kitchen has no ventilation, I rent and I just want to be able to move air to get rid of cooking smoke out my window. I grill a lot on cast iron and cook in a wok and my whole kitchen smokes up - I've had to remove the smoke detector while cooking.
I bought a 200CFM inline duct fan and attached 15' of 3" hose to the end going out the window and 5' 4" hose above where I cook but it doesn't seem to get all the smoke. If CFM's are the issue I would probably need at least 6" or more but that is rather bulky and this is something I just wanna do on a temporary basis when I cook.
I was thinking about a wet dry vac as I'm sure it has the air moving power but they are pretty loud. Any ideas on what might work best?
