Thermostat wiring help for new internet based thermostat.

Hi all,

I'm wanting to purchase an internet controlled thermostat.

I'm looking at a Honeywell RTH6580WF:

https://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-Programmable-Thermostat-RTH6580WF-Amazon/dp/B00Y6M2OUC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493638722&sr=8-1

Looking at this, it appears it requires a C wire which is apparently power (24v)

I'm wanting to confirm that I have this availability. I've taken pics and drawn our my existing wiring. It appears to be 4 wires running to the thermostat with a jumper on R-RC

On the hvac terminal block, I can see those 4 wires and where they're connected, I also see 2 wires connected to C and Y running into the wall to who knows where.

After a bit of research, I found this honeywell video describing how to substitute the G wire to C, which stops you from turning on the fan manually which is ok with me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOYo2zQ7sxg

Is that the method I should be going with here?

Thanks for the help.
